Warehouse Associate

Channel Islands Surfboards is a fun, fast-paced environment where employees use their involvement in surfing and its culture to provide the highest level of service and knowledge.

The Breakdown:

Warehouse Associate is responsible to package and ship products including surfboards and to receive goods into the warehouse. Monday through Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm. $15/hour.

What You Get To Do:

  • Picking and Packing of each shipment

  • Receive goods and put away

  • Conduct cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy

  • Work alongside our warehouse team

What you will bring to the team:

  • Good attitude and willingness to learn!

  • Team player with high standard for quality of work and a “can do” attitude combined with a high sense of urgency

  • High level of organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to effectively prioritize workload

  • Ability to take orders and carry out tasks in a diligent manner

  • Able to lift at least 50 LBS

  • Adhere to safety practices and SOP

  • Punctual

Reception/Front Desk

Channel Islands Surfboards is an employee-owned surfboard manufacturer with global distribution and headquartered in Carpinteria Ca. 

The environment is fast-paced and casual. 

Surfboard and surfing knowledge helpful. 

Channel Islands is looking for a Front Desk Coordinator for our headquarters location. The primary responsibility for this job is to provide the ultimate in customer service on the phone, face to face and via email to both visitors and customers.


SKILLS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Highly motivated, friendly and upbeat. Greeting of visitors. 
• Excellent communication skills both by phone and email.
• Order entry of e-commerce and industry orders.
• E-commerce proficiency to assist our online customers.
• Attention to detail is critical.
• Daily filing and sending of invoices.
• Assist the Senior Management as needed with event planning and travel.
• Inventory Counts
• HR Support

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 
• College degree and/or 2 years related experience. 
• Strong communication/customer service skills.
• High level of organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook) required.

SHIFT SCHEDULE

• 8:30AM – 5:00PM

SALARY

• $16-17 per hour depending on skills and experience.

START DATE

• Training to start ASAP.
